Durand Coffee in Hamilton

Love the atmosphere, very relaxing cafe. The coffee is great, however, I always have to order my latte extra hot as it’s only warm when served. I usually love Flat White coffees but for some reason Durand’s is just mediocre at best, for the price I would expect perfection.

Good spot for a cold cup of tea on a hot day like today.

A cozy and relaxed neighbourhood coffee shop with mid century modern accents. The staff are extremely friendly and community oriented. The food is delicious and locally sourced where possible. The coffee and tea are ethical, well brewed and highly rated. A great place for a meeting, grinding out some work, or a rewarding end to a walk in the neighbourhood.

Excellent customer service. They use very bright and light espresso beans which I find to be very sour and acidic tasting. Some people like that, I did not. The barista was wonderful and made me a non espresso drink which was lovely.

You go for the coffees and treats! They also have oat milk which I found delicious in my cappuccino. It's a quaint coffee shop.

There's a lot that I could say about this place. I love the atmosphere. It has a great vibe. It's calming and relaxed. The coffee is great. The treats are decadent. And the staff are always friendly. I walked in today and was able to strike up a conversation with one of the owners and I sat down to enjoy some coffee and just chill. For some reason the universe is telling me to go there more at least I think it is. I know that sounds kind of new age hippie ish. But when I saw the light I saw something that spoke to me.The only thing I could recommend is for them to post an email so I could tell them how much I love the place in a personal letter. One of the best cafes in Hamilton. Staff are super nice and friendly. Most importantly all staff know how to make coffee. No matter who makes my coffee it is always good. I appreciate the consistency- which you don’t always get. I like how they are always bribing in new beans, so I can try all sorts of different coffees at home. Very laid back place, good to have a coffee by yourself or to meet up with some friends.

One of the best coffeshops in Hamilton. Not only the location is cute, their coffee quality was also amazing. They have a limited yet good choices of pastries. The atmosphere is slightly different than other places, as people there are usually quiet and mind their own work. Not suggested for larger and loud crowd.

A cute little cafe tucked away with moms chatting while their kids played, and solo giggers plotting their strategies. Great environment, strong internet connection and the Americano was delish!

Cozy place with a hipster vibe. I Love their coffee bean. Almond and soy alternatives. Nice treats, some gluten free which are nicely kept separated which is an important issue for my gluten free husband. So that is a star right there. Little front patio.

Favourite place to get a coffee. Espresso based drinks are all great and the drip coffee is always well made and fresh. Staff is very knowledgable and professional. I go any time I am in the neighbourhood.

Great coffee. Espresso drinks are spot on. Baked goods can be 3/5 sometimes. Overall, perfect neighbourhood cafe with high standards. Also, you have a 60-65% chance of seeing a dog coffee breaking with its owner outside. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have never had a better cappuccino in my life. It's all about the full bodied foam. The espresso is strong but not bitter. I highly recommend this establishment.

I love this coffee shop! I often come here to relax and read a book. The drinks are excellent (they have a wonderful London Fog), and the pastries are scrumptious (I can't get enough of their scones)! I love the bright, clean, modern atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend it!

Guelph Lake Campsite is little oasis just outside Guelph (literally just a few minutes drive away from the city).We came here this weekend with a big group of girls and were impressed with how private and large each campsite was. The sites come with one picnic table and a fire pit

As nice as it was to drink burnt coffee, and feel like I was putting someone out while supporting a local business, I probably won't be returning. It has taken me a full 2 years to use up $25 on my Durand Coffee app and I've never felt more free.

The male servers were absolutely lovely it would have been nice if they described the product options a little bit better the coffee I thought I didn't realize was so bitter it would have been nice to have an option of a sweetener offered I found the layout to be eclectic and low maintenance but the price point was a little bit steep I got a lemonade and an iced coffee and it cost me nearly ten bucks

The staff, location and space are great. The coffee is really just adequate at best. So much potential but needs some work.

A quaint little shop serving great pastries and teas. My favourite has always been the carrot cake but has been inconsistent in availability especially in the Summer. The back has a living room with lots of seating and board games and books to read. It can get rather crowded even on weekdays.

My favourite cafe in Hamilton. Super chill and casual vibe. Our lattes are always perfect, consistency is key when it comes to espresso! They have a small but delish selection of baked goods. I’ve tried pretty much everything but they always have something new to try. The place is always buzzing.

Love this place. Has a great Hamilton vibe. Love the decor, the coffee, the music. Indoor and outdoor seating. The back room feels like you’re sitting in someone’s living room but in the best way. Staff is friendly, great scone options available. Might be my favourite coffee place in town.

Good quality latte however be patient. Sometimes the good things come to those who are patient. The atmosphere is very conducive to relaxing with a newspaper while drinking your coffee.

So thankful for having Durand open throughout COVID-19. It has been such a stablizing force in the community to be able to go and get a coffee and see friendly faces every day. Thank you so much for being a community pillar! And the coffee is great too!

Cozy but lots of seating. Cute library like area in the back - great for chilling or if you have a baby with you. Delicious coffee and treats. Highly recommended!

There's quite a bit of space in this cafe, high bar tables near the front window for individuals who want to be alone and do some work/reading; several small tables for 2-3 people. When you walk further into the cafe, there's this 'room' (the quaint part) with some board games and books for you to enjoy! This "book/games" section isn't really for a large of friends but I guess 3-4 people who don't mind sitting on the floor/rug would be ideal.

Want some unique coffees roasted from some of the best around the world? Hit up Durand, in a cute neighborhood with plenty of street parking and outdoor seating in nice weather.
